Traveling by Car
Whether you’re coming from Lower Saxony, Hamburg, or Lübeck, the A1 will take you conveniently to the outskirts of Eutin. From there, it’s just a few kilometers along the country road to the city center. Getting here from Kiel is also straightforward; many guests take the highway and then turn off toward the Baltic Sea coast.
People coming from Scandinavia often travel to Kiel by ferry or use the border crossing near Flensburg. From both locations, the B 76 leads directly to Eutin—a route that winds through the typical Holstein landscape of lakes and forests, turning the drive into a little break before the workday even begins.
For anyone who prefers to travel by train, Eutin is a real option.
Traveling by Train
Trains stop at Eutin Station regularly; for example, the trip from Kiel takes about 45 to 55 minutes, and from Lübeck, you can even get there in about 30 minutes. Trains run every half hour, so you can plan your trip flexibly without having to rely on a single train.
The best part: It’s only 600 meters from the train station to coworking.eutin—a short walk of about eight to ten minutes. No transfers, no bus, and no extra costs for the last mile.
Parking in Eutin
Of course, many people also come by car, and there are several options for that in Eutin.
You’ll find paid parking spots right in the city center, some just 20 meters from coworking.eutin. Perfect if you’re short on time or carrying heavy items, such as a laptop, documents, or workshop materials.
If you prefer to park for free, you’ll find spots at the train station or at the Alter Bauhof. Both parking lots are about a five- to ten-minute walk away—just the right distance to take a quick breather and mentally switch from traffic mode to work mode.
Special Tip for Coaches and Trainers
Do you have equipment, flip charts, or supplies with you and don’t want to have to find a parking spot first and then carry everything through town? Then take advantage of our special arrangement: On Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings, you’re allowed to drive right across the market square to the front door to load and unload. Loading and unloading is also possible on-site Monday through Saturday starting at 6:00 p.m. This way, you can bring your materials inside conveniently, without any detours.
